Accepting these terms

By using Lyter, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make important changes, we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Lyter after changes means you accept the new terms.

Using Lyter

Lyter is a productivity and organisation tool. It helps you manage tasks, build routines, set goals, and stay focused.

You're responsible for the content you enter into the app. Please don't use Lyter for anything illegal or harmful.

You're also responsible for keeping your account secure. Don't share your login details with others.

AI-generated content

Some features use AI to generate suggestions, like breaking down tasks, organising thoughts, or creating routines. These suggestions are meant to be helpful, not perfect.

AI-generated content is informational only. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise). Always use your own judgement when acting on AI suggestions.

Lyter is not a medical device or mental health service. It does not diagnose, treat, or manage any condition. If you're struggling with your mental health, please reach out to a qualified professional.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions are managed and billed by Apple.

Lyter offers both free and premium plans. Premium features require a paid subscription, which is processed securely by Apple through your App Store account.

• Free plan: includes basic features and 4 AI assists per month.
• Premium plan: includes unlimited AI assistance and all premium features, billed monthly or annually.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple ID settings.

We may offer a free trial. After the trial, your subscription will auto-renew at the standard price unless cancelled. You won't be charged if you cancel during the trial.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
• Tap your name at the top.
• Tap Subscriptions.
• Find Lyter and tap Cancel Subscription.

When you cancel, you'll keep premium access until the end of your current billing period. We don't offer partial refunds for unused time.

If you delete the app without cancelling, your subscription will continue. You must cancel through Apple to stop being charged.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Support screen. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data: tasks, routines, goals, brain dump items, settings, and personal information.

If you have an active subscription, deleting the app does not cancel it. You must cancel separately through Apple (see Cancellation above).

Limitation of liability

Lyter is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees about availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lyter and its creators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including lost data, missed tasks, or decisions made based on AI suggestions.

We work hard to keep the app reliable and helpful, but technology isn't perfect. Use Lyter as a supportive tool, not a critical system.
